We will be sending out a
camp flyer and registration forms soon (via e-mail) but we wanted you
to have this information right away, for your planning needs. We just
met with the the folks at Western Michigan
University
and put most of the details together for our Spring/Summer Camp.
Camp will be held from
Thursday, the 19th of June through Sunday the 22nd.
WMU in Kalamazoo,
Michigan. This will be our 4th
time at Western.
Early registration: Checks postmarked no
later than the end of March: $250 for Seidokan
members $275 for non-members.
Registration: Checks postmarked in
April or May: $275 for Seidokan members and $300
for non-members.
Late Registration: Anything coming in the
month of June, including "at the door": $300 members and $325
non-members. (People registering in June may or may not receive this year's
camp gift - depending on supply.)
Rooms will be standard
dorm rooms, 2 people to a room in most cases, but several larger rooms for
3 will also be available. The standard suites have separate sleeping
rooms for each person.
If someone wants a
private room (no roommate) that will be available for an additional $30 on
a first come, first served basis.
Parking passes will be
available at check-in; $10 for the weekend.
We will have pickup from
the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek Airport (AZO) available.
A non-refundable deposit
of $50 will hold your registration. Payment in full due by the start of
Camp.
We will be having a
banquet with entertainment on Friday evening.
